Fun and friendly dance classes in a variety of styles based at Conyers School in Yarm.
We offer a wide range of dance styles, from Street Dance to Lyrical, with classes suitable for all ages, from toddlers to teens. Whether your child has previous dance experience or is taking their very first steps, we have something for everyone.
Alongside our weekly term-time classes, we also offer exciting holiday clubs, private lessons, birthday parties, wedding dance tuition and opportunities to take part in shows and performances throughout the year.
Based at Conyers School, our classes are conveniently located for families in Yarm, Ingleby Barwick and the surrounding areas. Our purpose-built studio provides excellent facilities, creating a welcoming and inspiring environment for every dancer to learn, grow and have fun.

About Us
At Janie Elizabeth Dance, we offer exciting dance classes for children who are looking to dance for fun - without exams or competitions. There are opportunities to dance and perform at local public events and shows for those that wish to take part. We also offer holiday clubs in the school holidays with different themes including TikTok, Princesses, K-Pop Demon Hunters plus much more!
Our classes are led by owner and principal dance teacher Janie, alongside our dedicated teacher Lauren. Our passion and love for dance comes across in our teaching, where we encourage children to develop their dance skills in a fun and friendly environment. This warm and welcoming atmosphere allows children to build new friendships and feel like they are part of a dance community. Through attending our weekly classes, children will not only develop their dance abilities but will also build upon other aspects such as fitness, self-esteem and confidence.
